St. Paul’s Blessing Box, at the corner of Princess and 16th streets, is a ministry of our church in partnership with our neighborhood. The blessing box provides food items and basic hygiene items to those in our surrounding area who might need them. Items are free and the box is open 24/7. Volunteers are needed to check the Blessing Box on a regular basis to ensure that a consistent level of items are maintained.
- St. Paul’s Blessing Box Grocery Store Checklist provides guidance on possible donations.
- Parishioner are welcome and encouraged to add items as they are able and invited to take items as needed. Donations may be placed directly in the Blessing Box or in the collection receptacle in the hallway.
- If you wish to volunteer or have questions, please contact Bob Swindell, coordinator, at (910) 340-9600 or bob.kayswindell@charter.net.
- Monetary donations towards the purchase of items for the Blessing Box may be made payable to St. Paul’s and earmarked Blessing Box.
