I was baptized in St. John’s Episcopal Church in Hampton, Virginia; attended Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Farmville; attended Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Greensboro while in college, and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Goldsboro until I moved to Wilmington in 2018.
I have loved the music, liturgy, and history of our church so it was not a surprise that I found a home here at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. EFM taught me so much about the history and philosophy of Christianity and reading the daily lessons and psalms from the Forward made our faith real to me.
I enjoy working in the altar guild, with the Parish Life team, singing joyfully if not well on Sundays, and serving as a lector. Being on the vestry gives me an insight to the working units of our church. I am amazed at the number of people who volunteer their time to make St. Paul’s a community church.
