We three share our home as husband, wife and daughter. We are two Southern-born girls and a Massachusetts guy turned Southerner but still a Boston Celtics and Red Sox fan. We are former Presbyterians recently confirmed at St. Paul’s and happy to be a part of such a loving and welcoming group of friends here. Any church that blesses the animals and welcomes everyone is a good place to be!
We have lived in Wilmington since 1996. Bill is a retired pharmacist after 50 years in that field and Beth is a retired social worker, public school teacher, gerontology instructor and service-learning coordinator at UNCW. Leigh Anne is employed in retail work.
Bill and Beth are also parents to Heather and husband Bill Sanford of Chapel Hill, and Will and wife Heather Richards of Wilmington. We are grandparents to four grandsons and one granddaughter Mason, Oliver, and Liam Sanford, and Josh and Emily Richards. Our other children are furry terriers, Macs and Bryn, who bring fun with a fury to our home.
We enjoy our family, good friends, good music, great food and gardening. Leigh Anne likes to be with the whole family and join in on the UNC games, Bill loves to read, while Beth enjoys writing. Bill is hard of hearing; Beth has weak eyesight and Leigh Anne and the grands keep us straight with a lot of humor. Who could ask for more?
