Vegetable Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 (16 oz) can cut string beans
  • 1 (16 oz) can shoepeg corn
  • 1 (16 oz) can green peas
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped
  • 1 (4 oz) jar diced pimento
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Mix vegetables and pimiento. Mix sugar, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper. Pour over vegetables and pimento. Place in refrigerator overnight or at least 5 hours. Drain before serving.
