Steve & Julie Martin

Dec 7, 2021 | Members Corner

We joined St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in 2014. We were looking for a church home and were drawn to the music, the beautiful worship space and the warmth of the community. We sing in the choir. Singing in the St. Paul’s choir is a privilege like no other!

Through this gift of singing, we feel closer to God and feel we help set the spiritual tone of each service. We sing the finest music ever written, under the inspired direction of Ronnie Wise. Master organist Richard Rhoads fills our glorious worship space with a thrilling sound each Sunday. Our voices reflect the joy of singing in this sacred space that is St. Paul’s. We are now blessed with Caleb, our new rector.

Steve also serves on the Vestry and the stewardship committee. Julie serves in the communications ministry and on the grant committee. Steve is a poet and Julie loves to bake bread and garden.

Wilmington offers many wonderful attractions but at the heart, its best feature is the community, friendship, spirituality and love that is centered at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
