I was raised in Asheville. My parents still reside in the same home I grew up in. I was baptized at All Souls Episcopal Church in January 1985.
I was not confirmed during my high school years like most Episcopalians; however, my brother and I were acolytes in the inauguration ceremony when All Souls became the Cathedral of the WNC Diocese in January of 1995.
I moved to Wilmington in 2002 and I began working for a locally owned speech pathology private practice for which I am still employed. I was confirmed and changed my church membership to St. Paul’s in October 2004. After a hiatus and some years later, I became a member of The Order of the Daughters of the King in November of 2016. I so love my church home and family at St. Paul’s.
