My life started in Canada where I was born and lived until I graduated from nursing school in 1977. When Canadian RNs were being recruited to the US, I moved to Raleigh and worked at Wake Medical Center. After 6 years, I began working at Duke University in Durham, where I remained for 34 years.

I live at Compass Pointe in Leland with my husband, Andy. We are both retired from Duke and moved to Leland in December 2017. Much to our delight, our only daughter Rachael landed a job in Wilmington and moved to the area last summer.

I joined St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Raleigh in 2000 where I was the co-chair of the Altar Guild. After finding St. Paul’s in Wilmington, I knew I had found my new church family. I became a member of St. Paul’s in the summer of 2018. I am a greeter at the 10:30 service and, on occasion, serve as an usher so you have likely seen me around. I look forward to continuing to serve at St. Paul’s and being part of this warm and welcoming parish.
