Lemon Bars

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • ¼ cup flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together flour and powdered sugar. Cut in the butter until well blended. Press into bottom of 13×9” baking pan. Bake until golden, approximately 20-25 minutes.

In a separate bowl, beat eggs, sugar, and lemon juice together. Add flour and baking powder. Mix well. Pour over baked crust and bake an additional 25 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cool and cut into bars. Enjoy!
