How about a party with a purpose?
The purpose is to pack 10,000 meals for hungry people around the world, through Rise Against Hunger. At the same time, while packing the meals, we can renew acquaintances divided by Covid, meet new parishioners and welcome visitors.
We can be the Body of Christ, following Jesus’ command to feed the hungry while simultaneously building and strengthening our community of faith all the while having a fun time.
It is truly a win-win situation.
Set aside Saturday morning Sept. 18. It just takes two hours. We need 60 folks to do this, adults, younger folks, maybe some of your friends, neighbors, etc., that you might ask.
Let’s do this again, St. Paul’s third packing, to help our neighbors around the world and to strengthen our bonds right here.
