Nancy and I have been attending St. Paul’s since we moved to Wilmington in 1994, becoming members that year or early in 1995. Since then, we have tried to remain active in numerous ministries.
In the late ’90s I served as treasurer to the Vestry, and in the early 2000s became a member of the Vestry, including serving as Senior Warden. I am most passionate about serving in the music ministry, where you’ll find me in the choir stalls most Sundays.
I grew up in a Cathedral church and as a youngster was an active member of and trainee through the Royal School of Church Music. Nancy and I have two adult sons, Andrew and Patrick, both of whom received their confirmation at St. Paul’s (with Patrick having been baptized here as well.) Nancy’s mom, Elaine Conklin joined us at Saint Paul’s when she moved to the area. We have been blessed with two grandchildren (Lillian and Oliver).
We appreciate each and every member of our Saint Paul’s family and look forward to continuing our journey with you all. I pray that we all have the strength and courage to love and serve the Lord with gladness and singleness of heart.
Peace be with you!
