Laurentian Singers

Hello Caleb & Brendan,

As promised, I’m writing to follow up with you regarding the Laurentian Singers Tour itinerary and to confirm a date for our performance at St. Paul’s. Our tour will originate in Raleigh-Durham, so we are now planning to be in Wilmington March 17-18. I’m thinking that either a late afternoon or early evening performance at St. Paul’s on Sunday, March 17 would probably work better than on a Monday. Please let me know whether that date will still work for your schedule, and if you have any thoughts on whether an afternoon or evening performance that day would be better.

Also, I wanted to ask if the church might be willing to consider hosting some type of potluck meal for us on the day of our visit? As I’m sure you know, coordinating meals between rehearsals and concerts is a significant challenge for a traveling choir, and sometimes our hosting churches are in a position to help with this by offering a potluck meal, whether coordinated by the choir or some other group within the church. It also gives us an opportunity to socialize with members of your community either before or after our performance. I understand that every church is different, so if this is something you’d be willing to consider, we would be greatly appreciative, but if not, that’s ok too, and we will make other arrangements.
