I have been a Wilmingtonian since I was 7 years old. My mother, my 2 brothers, my sister and I moved here from Fuquay, so this was the big city for us. I was baptized shortly after arrival at St. James and was confirmed years later at St. Paul’s where I have been a communicant for 55 years. St. Paul’s holds many memories for me of very special people of faith who fostered a loving and welcoming spirit which still thrives today at our church. I guess you can tell that I love our St. Paul’s family
My 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren were all baptized at St. Paul’s and grew up under the loving care of the wonderful people at our church. My family has also had confirmations and marriages take place here. I’ve been involved in several capacities at the church over the years, but these days I mostly serve on altar guild and reception committees.

I was a teacher in New Hanover County and have been retired for almost 20 years. (Time truly does fly!) .These days I enjoy a little travelling, being involved with my family and friends, watching sports on tv, reading a bit, and puttering in my yard.
