Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I am honored to be featured for St. Paul’s Members Corner during this joyous time of year!
My reception into the Episcopal Church was in April 2011 at St. Bartholomew’s in Yarmouth, Maine. As a Navy family my husband Chuck and I have moved around quite a bit and have been blessed to be a part of many beautiful church families from Maine to South Dakota. The fall of 2019 found us back in North Carolina and we were immediately drawn to St. Paul’s. After attending our first service we knew that we had found our church family. The beautiful space, welcoming people and strong sense of community made it an easy decision.
I am currently a special education teacher at an elementary school aboard Camp Lejeune. Chuck and I have four Labradors and two cats ages 2 and 10 years. They keep us busy and on our toes! At St. Paul’s I am currently finishing my term on the vestry. I have been involved for the past year and a half on the Facilities committee and I am an 8 a.m. greeter. I am excited for 2022 and all the wonderful things to come!
