Parish Administrator Changes

May 22, 2023 | Clergy Corner

Dear St. Paul’s Family,

I write to share news with you regarding a transition in church staff. After a year and half of faithful service to St. Paul’s, April Cook will be leaving us.

April has been a good employee and has served this parish well. She has greeted all who come across her path with a smile. As St. Paul’s continues to grow, the length of time that we anticipate needing in the office is more than her current schedule and family responsibilities can manage.  We give thanks for her family; Jamie, Isla, and Max, who have shared her with us as a companion on the journey. We wish her and her family all the best in the future. April’s last official day in the office will be Thursday, June 8th.

It is my privilege to announce the appointment of Renée Patrick as our new Parish Administrator.  Renée and her husband Ernest have been members of St. Paul’s since 2020.  Renée brings with her a wealth of experience having served as Parish Administrator at St. Alban’s in Washington DC and at Christ Church in Columbia, MD.  As we got to know each other over the past year and half it became evident that she would be a great fit if the position were to come open.

We had originally planned for Renée to begin her work on Monday, June 12th.  We may have to move that date back due to the rehabilitation necessary after her recent hospitalization. April Cook has offered to help with this transition, as her schedule allows. During the month of June both April and church volunteers will be helping in the office.  Stay tuned for more.

Blessings to April! Prayers for Renée!

Faithfully,

Caleb+
