In 2015 Kenny and I lost my son David. He was only 35 years old. (Kenny’s stepson). I had previously left the Episcopal Church because my son requested that I attend a different church with him. After his death, I could no longer attend this church without crying, so I decided to return to the Episcopal Church. I decided to visit St. Paul’s because I had so many good experiences there. In 1996 I started attending a Divorce Care group held in the library on the advice of a counselor who had an office at St. Paul’s. When my class finished, I was so supported, I decided to repeat the class. I met my husband Kenny in this 2nd class and 4 years later we were married.
We decided to attend a service at St. Paul’s in November of 2016 and felt instantly we were in the right place. We were so welcomed and impressed by the members of St. Paul’s. We love all the care and outreach St. Paul’s participates in the community.
We both are on the Usher team, Parish Life team and volunteer for the outreach programs.
