Sacred Ground is a program created by the Episcopal Church to provide a safe space for dialogue about the difficult issues of race and racism in our country.
It is an attempt to be responsive to the profound challenges that currently exist in our society by engaging in respectful and transformative dialogue about race and racism. It holds the vision of beloved community as a guiding star.
It is built around powerful documentary films and readings that encourage discussion in a small group (14 people max). There are 10 sessions in all.
The group will meet every other Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. via Zoom beginning on Jan. 13.
