Hello Friends and Family that are St. Paul’s!

Oct 16, 2020 | Announcements

Oh, this season of Stewardship offers us so many opportunities.  I call to you to not see it as that but as a time of great excitement and hope for our Parish. We are on the verge of achieving such great things.  We have so much to look forward to, with your help.
As it reflect on the roll-out of the Strategic Plan, I am so impressed by the hard and time consuming work that the volunteers are putting in to their individual areas while keeping a fine eye on the details so that nothing is left behind. It is amazing to observe and to which be part. These selfless individuals give their all to create a long-lasting, energetic place where God’s creation is protected and preserved while we take the Gospel of Jesus under our arms to others.  WOW!

I ask you all to be a part of this amazing possibility.  Please pledge if you have not done so before.  If you have pledged before, then please prayerfully consider increasing your pledge by 20% or more, in accordance with our Strategic Plan,  so that we can meet our dreams of improving our existing sacred place, give the music program increased resources to advance those goals and dreams, while increasing the affordability of better programs of youth formation, adult formation and our valuable Community Ministries.  Both the Stewardship Committee and the Vestry are Committed to doing so as each person’s budget allows them to do so in these difficult times.  That’s all I ask.  Do what you can to increase you gift of the God given blessings to show your thanks to God. No one will think less of you if you can’t due to these times but we all will appreciate whatever you can do.  We know where your heart is.

We are so blessed to have two top-rank Clergy.  We want to keep them.  We are so blessed to have two top-rank Music Directors.  We Want to keep them. We are so blessed to have our beloved, sacred worship space.  We want to keep that. We are so blessed to have the dedicated leaders of Formation for both the young and the more mature.  We want to give them more resources so they can increase the offerings.  We are so blessed to have the opportunity to make a difference in our community.  We want to provide more resources in that area so that we can do even more.  It is up to you for us to be able to accomplish all of this.  The volunteers are not enough.  The Vestry and the Stewardship Committee are not enough. All the work everyone does is not enough.  IT TAKES YOU!

Please join me in digging deep.  I challenge each of you to carefully examine what you can do and then step up for St. Paul’s, your beloved church family. We can be so much better…but we must have YOU!
Peace and Love.
Faithfully,
Keith Calder
