Abundant Generosity

Nov 3, 2022 | Clergy Corner

Dear St. Paul’s Family,

This week alone we have celebrated All Saints Day and All Souls with noonday Eucharists, and welcomed the Wilmington community by performing Faure’s Requiem to a full crowd. It was a great event. Our regularly scheduled outreach ministries of hosting various 12-step groups and Coach Thomas’s basketball teams continued as scheduled. The GNP and the Rector’s Bible Study were both full groups today.Mensgroup meets tomorrow.  I officiate my first wedding here at St. Paul’s on Saturday. All Saints Sunday is sure to be a great day of remembrance and celebration… and that is all just this week!

Things are really moving at St. Paul’s. The fall has been busy, but truly enlivened by the Holy Spirit.

It is only by your abundant generosity that we are able to keep shining our light.  I am reminded that All Saints Sunday is traditionally an Ingathering Sunday. It is the day that you bring your pledge to the church, if you haven’t already.  With our pledge we are honoring all those who have gone before us in the faith. The torch has been passed to us. It is our turn to shine.

Faithfully,

Caleb+
